
Dr. Acacia Warren presented a session on project-based learning the ISTE20 Live Conference. Her presentation was entitled, “Anchored in Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice: PBL and STEAM for Everyone”. She addressed how to transform pedagogical spaces and engage students with PBL projects that are engaging, relevant, and profound. She also discussed innovative ways to teach equity and inclusion.
A total of 13,007 attendees were represented from every U.S. state and 94 countries worldwide at the ISTE20 Live event. The virtual aspect of ISTE20 Live meant more people were able to join from around the world. The conference offered a full week of captivating talks, expert advice, collaboration between educators from around the globe, and some chill-inspiring performances by world-class entertainers. Because of the global pandemic, this was the first time the ISTE Conference & Expo was held entirely online using a custom-built tool.
