John Le, M.Ed.
Vice President

Mr. John Le has served as a high school math teacher, department chair, and served in several academy leadership roles. He received both his BS in Mathematics and Masters in Education at UCLA, as well as an extended leadership training with his administrative credential from CSULB.

As a first-generation student to attend college, having several counts of imposter syndrome was the norm. He never noticed the vast differences between his peers until he stepped outside of his community, and like any other, he began to compare. He soon realized that he lacked many resources that his peers had an abundance of during their upbringing.

Mr. Le made a commitment to teach and inspire, and to return to his community to provide access to the resources, to motivate students and provide them avenues for success.

Mr. Le’s development of the STEM mentoring program is to allow first-generation, BIPOC, and low-SES students living in marginalized communities, equitable access to pursuing a university as a STEM major. The program’s intent is to not only provide academic support, but to optimize our students’ capacity for personal/professional growth.
