Dr. Fawn Hutton is the former Director of Business Operations for Emergency Services at UC Davis Medical Center. The Department of Emergency Medicine at UC Davis provides level-1 adult and pediatric trauma care for more than 33 of California's 58 counties. They care for and service over 80,000 patients each year. They offer the only level-1 adult and pediatric trauma center in inland Northern California. Fawn supported a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, residents, and specialists of every medical and surgical specialty to treat critically ill and injured adults and children.
Dr. Hutton previously managed an Electrophysiology (EP) clinic and General Cardiology clinic in downtown Sacramento for Dignity Health Medical Foundation. She has over a decade of healthcare administration experience. Dr. Hutton started her healthcare career after receiving her MBA and getting accepted into a competitive 3-year administrative residency program for eleven hospital campuses in Florida.
During Dr. Hutton's residency, she worked alongside the corporate executive team (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, and VPs) and received top-notch training in healthcare administration. The latter training inspired her to pursue a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt Certification. Fawn is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE).
Dr. Hutton is highly skilled in building community, trust, and respect amongst colleagues. She enjoys providing administrative expertise whenever needed and she is committed to leading the way for preeminent healthcare. Her extracurricular passions include traveling (one highlight of her travels was visiting the panda bears in Chengdu, China), walking her dog (she loves her boxer!), and watching docudramas when she can spare a free moment.
